The following two graphs, FIGURE 29. and FIGURE 30., show the x-axis compo-
nent of the acceleration vector as a star makes a close pass to a collapsar. The time
arbitrarily chosen as the time when the star is the closest to the collapsar.

Note the apparent singularity at t=0.
FIGURE 30. Graph of f() with a small step size.
Note that f() now looks like a continuous
function and has smaller peaks.
